Lucky 7 Ranch has been a continuously operating and working ranch since 1872. It is one of the oldest and most storied ranch properties the State of Utah. Located on US Highway 89 it is spectacularly situated in close proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument.
Russel and Patricia Walter brought it back into the family in 1965 and is here today as part of their legacy. Generations of the Walter Family have worked and played on the ranch.

Lucky 7 Ranch has been a continuously operating and working ranch since 1965. Located in Hatch, Utah on US Highway 89 it is spectacularly situated in close proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument.
The Ranch was founded by Russel and Patricia Walter and is here today as part of their legacy. Four generations of the Walter Family have worked and played on the ranch.
Charolais Cattle
Our all natural grass fed Charolais Cattle are raised in the high basin of the Paunsaugunt Plateau at approximately 7,000 feet in elevation. Under the stunning red cliffs reminiscent of nearby Bryce Canyon National Park, Lucky 7 Ranch Charolais cattle range on nearly one thousand acres of diverse terrain including the winding Sevier River, irrigated pastures, exposed grasslands, and protected valleys.
We’re excited to have you visit! The ranch consists of several hundred acres located on the Paunsaugunt Cliffs Plateau with several ponds and the Sevier River running through it. The ranch elevation is 7000 feet. Access to the ranch is by invitation only and visitors must sign a release of liability.
